Ron Brown Award

Our company and foundation invested more than $2.8 million in Hurricane Katrina relief efforts that, in addition to a loaned employee program, included a full-time disaster relief coordinator, an adopt-a-family program, and a guide to helping employees in a natural disaster that has been shared with relief organizations and other companies. Our disaster relief efforts earned the Ron Brown Award for Corporate Leadership, the only presidential award to honor companies for the exemplary quality of their relationships with employees and communities. See Disaster relief in the Citizenship section for more information.
